Position: Senior Living Nurse

An established senior care community is seeking a dedicated nursing professional to take on a leadership role within our team. This position is ideal for an RN or LPN/LVN who values teamwork, accountability, and providing excellent resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily care delivery for residents, ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
  • Perform skilled nursing tasks within scope of practice and state regulations.
  • Accurately document resident observations, changes in condition, incidents, and ensure follow‑up until resolved.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and outside providers.
  • Implement physician orders and ensure service plans are carried out by caregivers.
  • Monitor and support medication administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide clear shift reports to incoming staff and receive updates from caregivers.
  • Assign duties, monitor performance, and support staff in completing responsibilities.
  • Manage shift coverage and scheduling needs when staffing challenges arise.
  • Address family and visitor concerns professionally, documenting actions taken.
  • Handle minor facility‑related issues during shift and escalate when appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Current RN or LPN/LVN license (in good standing, as required by state).
  • Prior experience in healthcare, ideally in senior care.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
