American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC certification and a TX or compact RN license.

• Work in a 30-bed Emergency Department with 8 additional hall beds
• Fast-paced ED with 1:4 patient ratios
• Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont rapid infusers, and portable EKG machines
• Performs procedures such as NIH stroke scale assessments, IV/blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Scheduled shift from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Works every other weekend
• No floating required

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the Emergency Department specialty
• ENPC certification preferred
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Provide emergency care to a diverse patient population requiring compassion and empathy
• Work alongside a team including charge nurses, RNs, paramedics, and LVNs
• Scrub color/attire required: royal blue
• Best suited for team players with a strong focus on patient-centered care
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility - no local candidates accepted
