American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with ventilator and cardiovascular drip experience for a 13-week day shift assignment.

• 30-bed ICU unit with approximately 82 staff members, including 2 charge nurses and 15 nurses per shift depending on acuity
• Patient ratios of 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1 depending on acuity and 1:1 needs
• Unit utilizes CRRT, IABP, and Impella equipment (Impella experience not mandatory)
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 4 weekend shifts per schedule required
• No on-call requirements
• May float to IMU as needed

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required
• ICU experience with ventilator management and cardiovascular drips required
• Neuro experience preferred
• Experience with thoracentesis and arterial/central line placement procedures preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
• One professional reference required

• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered
