As a Perishable Representative, your responsibilities include maintaining a well-stocked and clean department, providing excellent customer service, preparing, packaging, and merchandising fresh products daily, and adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications include:

• High school diploma
• Customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Core responsibilities:

• Providing superior customer service
• Taking orders and assisting customers with product questions and selections

• Preparing, packaging, and merchandising fresh products
• Handling slicing, labeling, and product rotation

• Effective product merchandising
• Using suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and increase sales

• Cleaning and sanitizing display cases and equipment
• Following food safety and sanitation standards

Depending on the department (Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce, Seafood), additional tasks include preparing specialty drinks, floral arrangements, meat cutting, produce handling, and seafood packaging.

Requirements:

• Minimum age 18
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training

Skills:

• Computer systems knowledge
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reading, writing, planning, and organizing skills

Physical demands vary by department but may include lifting up to 90 lbs, standing, walking, bending, and exposure to various environmental conditions.
