We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing new business opportunities, as well as nurturing existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients achieve their goals through our printing and marketing solutions.
Responsibilities:
Has a thorough knowledge of all Alpha Graphics products and services, production processes, capabilities, and pricing.Maintains a professional appearance.Ensure all clients have a positive customer experience.Consults with customers to help them make decisions; upsells and cross-sells when there are opportunities.Captures customer’s specifics using “Job Analysis” questions.Asks probing questions.Reviews customer’s proofs, manages the proofing process, and calls customers when jobs are ready for pick up.Assist with job estimates that are prepared in a timely manner, professionally presented and carefully reviewed for job pricing and accuracy.Routinely resolves customer inquiries and complaints.Displays necessary mastery of MIS tools to create and estimate customer projects effectively.Maintains current pricing strategies and customer billing procedures.An Alpha Graphics OSR performs all business development functions related to Outside and Inside Sales, including the following:Prospect and qualify new leads through cold calling, networking, and other sales techniques.Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target industries.Proactively reach out to existing accounts via phone calls and emails to understand their current needs and identify opportunities for further engagement.Monitor and track account penetration efforts, maintaining detailed records of interactions and outcomes to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations to become a trusted advisor and preferred partner.Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' printing and marketing requirements.Present tailored solutions and proposals that address clients' specific needs and objectives.Collaborate with our design and production teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of projects.Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to close sales and achieve revenue targets.Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape.Qualifications:Strong understanding of printing, marketing, and advertising concepts and technologies.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and prospects.Account Management experience is preferred but not required.Knowledge of printing and prepress requirements a plus.Possesses a solid knowledge of MIS systems and order entry processes.Handles all communications with customers in a professional and respectful manner.Strong analytical skills (break projects into steps or sets).Excellent writing and verbal skills.Professional appearance and decorum.Strong organizational and time-management skills.* Alpha Graphics centers (locations) are independently owned and operated.
