You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as chemical/petrochemical. As a security officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. The role includes conducting routine patrols, supporting access control, offering emergency response, and reporting hazards.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, including chemical and petrochemical areas, to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to site procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities, including evacuations and/or containment as required by site protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential issues and provide assistance to employees, contractors, and visitors as needed.

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
