Repair and Tool Technician

Repair and Tool Technicians are responsible for evaluating and repairing small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices. They make equipment recommendations and ensure units are maintained properly. Technicians work in our stores with Tool Rental Centers and in repair centers. In stores, technicians provide service to customers, including writing contracts and invoices for equipment rental and repairs, checking tool operation, and demonstrating proper use as needed.

They also handle the day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the tool rental department. In non-store locations, technicians ensure units are repaired, tested for quality, cleaned, and returned to the originating store. Candidates must have thorough knowledge of tools and effectively manage tool inventory through maintenance and repairs.
