Licensed Electricians

Electricians are responsible for electrical connections contained in a power distribution building. This is accomplished by installing and assembling electrical wiring and components in accordance with engineered designs and drawings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install switch gear and other electrical components.
• Installs wiring, electrical fixtures and control equipment such as relays, and circuit breaker panels.
• Installs lighting panels and switches.
• Reads/Interprets designs and drawings.
• Recognize and report hazards/ Apply safe work methods.
• Operate a fork lift as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED
• 3 years of related experience is preferred.
• Qualified candidates should have thorough knowledge of the NEC
• Knowledge of effective use of proper lock out/tag out equipment.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, tape measure, grinders and saws.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to read and interpret written and/or oral instructions.
• Must be able to safely move and relocate heavy objects.
• Must be able to work at heights exceeding 6'.
