General Job Description
IES Residential is currently seeking Residential Electrical Helper in the North Houston area.
Key Responsibilities- Assist electricians during rough‑in by measuring, cutting, and bending wire using hand and power tools.
- Help install electrical components including outlets, lights, switches, and fixtures.
- Carry, hold, and organize materials required for completing projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Communicate effectively with team members and take direction from supervisors and licensed electricians.
- Promptly report any unsafe working conditions or incidents to the appropriate person.

Minimum Years of Experience0–2
Specific Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
- Basic problem‑solving and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership potential is a bonus.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work in various locations as needed.
- Ability to pass all required safety training, background checks, and drug screening.
- Willingness to relocate is a plus.
