The Field Service Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the execution of operations within Digital Completions Services (DCS) and across NOV Digital Services (NDS). This role is responsible for traveling to client’s upstream completions locations for hardware installation and troubleshooting, ensuring customer requirements are met with precision and timeliness. The Field Service Technician serves as the field representative of NOV to the client, building relationships to support both day-to-day operations and long-term operational excellence.

• Travel to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and train customers on the safe and proper operation of Digital Completions Solutions (DCS) products.
• Perform field upgrades of software and hardware.
• Document and communicate field failures, customer feedback, and improvement ideas.
• Communicate and build strong relationships with on-site client representatives and client’s service provider crews.
• Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory on the truck and equipment at client locations.
• Participate in hardware assembly, hardware installation, and R&D testing of DCS products.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must pass a national background check and a motor vehicle report.
• Willingness to be on call and ability to travel per the manager's request.
• Good verbal and written communication skills (English).
• Not afraid of heights.
• Proven knowledge of upstream oil and gas completions operations, equipment, and terminology.
• Ability to lead and assist other techs and colleagues.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues related to sensors, PLCs, and networking/cabling.

• Upstream completions background or Electronics Technician experience.
• Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish).
• Ability to travel internationally.
