Job Summary

Position Overview

The assistant personal training manager supports a high‑performance, high‑care culture that operates with speed and urgency in delivering results through member integration, programming, and development. The role reports to the Personal Training Manager and will manage a team of personal trainers to drive success in club operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and fitness expertise of all Crunch team members
• Meet new client acquisition and existing client retention targets for the club
• Administer the Crunch One Kickoff experience through coaching and guiding to acquire personal training clients
• Generate personal training client leads and new clients for the team
• Counsel and guide members using the 4 Pillars of Fitness – Nutrition, Movement, Supplementation and Professional Assistance
• Ensure accurate administration of PT services (dotFIT program, supplements, client programming, progress tracking)
• Align resources informed by KPIs and organizational priorities with PTM assistance
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to all member inquiries within 24 hours
• Report to the General Manager and Personal Training Manager on key results and action plans
• Attend all required meetings/trainings for PT staff
• Maintain accurate time clock and personal training session utilization records for proper labor controls and integrity

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–2 years of personal training experience preferred
• CPR/AED certification required (obtainable within 30 days of hire)
• Prior management experience leading a team of 3–10 employees preferred
• Experience executing plans and managing KPIs required
• Demonstrate integrity and judgment that inspires trust
• Basic understanding of the fitness industry, market, and key business drivers

Certification

• American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
• Certified Personal Trainer
• Health Fitness Specialist
• American Council on Exercise (ACE)
• National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer
• Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift or move 50 lbs.
• Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor degree preferred

Compensation

• Over $65,000 in annual earnings potential
