Pipeline Carriers, Inc is seeking Truck Drivers

Starting at $62,000 annually, with the potential to earn up to $72,000 or more, depending on route, hours, and performance incentives. Local Route - Home Every Night! Scheduled Shift: Monday - Friday. Possible start time as early as 4 am and ends as late as 6pm. Hours subject to change per delivery schedules. Flexibility on weekends. Rain or Shine.

• Responsible for safely transporting reinforced concrete pipe, raw materials and other products from one place to another using heavy or tractor-trailer trucks. Operates trucks with a capacity of at least 80,000 pounds per gross vehicle weight.
• Delivery will be primarily to construction sites.
• Operates a semi-truck according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
• Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations.
• Load and unload cargo and other materials.
• Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete.
• Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air, reports maintenance malfunctions to Fleet mechanics.
• Drive local distance
• Pre-trip and Post Trip inspections
• Keep an electronic log of their activities.
• Keep their truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
• And other duties as assigned within in the fleet department.

• Driving Class A Flatbed Truck Minimum: 1-2 years
• Clean Driving record
• Load and Unload: 2 Years Minimum
• Class A CDL Driver
  
  Experience:
  
  2 Years
• Understands and fully aware of all DOT regulations and guidelines

• Must hold required commercial driver’s license appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated.
• Current Medical examiners Card

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 75 pounds.
• Drivers must be able to climb in and out of the cab.
• Must be able to secure loads by using chains, binders and other straps.

• This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, shift hours pending scheduled deliveries. And flexibility on weekends.

• Travel required.
