We are currently recruiting for an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager to join a major data centre scheme in Cambois, Northumberland
.

This is a significant project requiring a strong project management background, with particular experience in structural steelwork, steel erection and the coordination of complex construction activities
. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of structural steel packages, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality and programme standards.

• Manage the structural steel package from planning and coordination through to installation and completion.
• Oversee structural steel contractors, subcontractors and site teams.
• Coordinate steelwork activities with the wider construction programme and other trades.
• Monitor progress, programme, quality and health & safety across the package.
• Liaise with the client, consultants, design teams and other project stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specifications, fabrication details and installation requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical, logistical and programme issues.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications and relevant standards.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports and progress updates.
• Drive the successful delivery of the package in line with project milestones.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within structural steelwork
  .
• Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, erection and installation.
• Experience managing steelwork packages on major commercial, industrial or data centre projects.
• Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and manage complex interfaces.
• Strong understanding of construction programmes, quality control and health & safety.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant construction qualifications, with SMSTS and CSCS preferred.
