Student Engagement Officer

Help Young People Build Brighter Futures

Do you enjoy helping young people achieve their potential? Are you passionate about building relationships with schools, employers and local communities?

We're looking for a proactive Student Engagement Officer to recruit and support learners, helping them progress into further education, apprenticeships and employment.

This is a varied role where you'll work closely with learners, referral partners and employers to create opportunities, secure work placements and provide ongoing support throughout the learner journey.

What You'll Be Doing

* Recruit learners onto vocational programmes and manage enrolments.

* Build relationships with schools, Local Authorities, NEET teams and referral partners.

* Support learners through regular reviews, guidance and progression planning.

* Develop employer partnerships and source meaningful work placements.

* Monitor learner engagement, attendance and outcomes.

* Work with teaching staff, parents and external agencies to provide effective learner support.

* Maintain accurate learner records and reporting.

What We're Looking For

* Experience in education, employability, youth work, careers advice or vocational training.

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

* A passion for motivating and supporting young people.

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.

* Confident using Microsoft Office and learner management systems.

* Level 2 English and Maths.

* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
