CNC Miller – Skilled Machinist - Shift

The Role

We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on machining role for a skilled, time-served CNC Setter/Operator with strong experience working on Mazak milling machines.

You will be responsible for producing high-quality, precision components from engineering drawings, working to tight tolerances and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, high-quality precision components from engineering drawings.
• Competently set and operate CNC milling machines, with particular emphasis on Mazak equipment.
• Work with 3, 4 and 5-axis milling machines.
• Work to tight engineering tolerances and inspect your own work to ensure it meets specification.
• Carry out quality checks on all completed jobs.
• Interpret engineering drawings and follow written manufacturing instructions.
• Work efficiently while maintaining consistently high standards of quality.
• Take responsibility for your work and use your own initiative to resolve manufacturing issues where appropriate.
• Understand and contribute to all aspects of the manufacturing process.
