Job DescriptionA growing company in the disaster restoration services is hiring a qualified Water Mitigation Technician to promote and build the division in Water Mitigation. The right response team can mean the difference between recovery and a total loss. We are looking for a committed team member who provides quality service, walks customers through the restoration process, and represents our brand with integrity and dedication.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- Effectively perform all water damage mitigation services offered by the company.
- Visit new assignments and interface with customers.
- Scope, document, contract, execute, and collect water/fire/smoke mitigation.
- Perform physical functions required for mitigation setup and demolition.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain dedication to quality.
- Complete appropriate documentation for each loss.
- Maintain appearance and stock of tools, materials, and supplies for the company vehicle; maintain inventory of related supplies.
- Determine the sequence of steps to deliver services and maintain timely communication with technicians, supervisors, and managers.
- Pass driving, background check, and drug screening.
- Evaluate the integrity of affected materials and contents.
- Meet specific deadlines and work within time constraints.
- Complete additional duties as needed.
- Apply IICRC certified WTR-ASD procedures and ensure certifications remain current.
- No less than 3 years experience in water mitigation.
- Apply techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
- Possess IICRC certification (WTR-ASD). Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response Training preferred.
- Clear driving record, background check, and drug screening clearance.
