Location Manager, Transportation

Excel Driver Services is a professional commercial driver training organization operating in Colorado and Texas. We prepare individuals for careers in commercial transportation through comprehensive CDL instruction, hands-on training, and workforce development programs. Our focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and quality driver development supports both students and the transportation industry.

Excel Driver Services is seeking an experienced Location Manager for its San Antonio, Texas operation. The ideal candidate brings substantial commercial driving experience, knowledge of CDL instruction and compliance, fleet oversight, and a proven record of supervising people and daily operations. We are looking for a hands-on leader with sound judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to developing professional commercial drivers.

Class A CDL and Driving Experience

• Must currently hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum five (5) years of professional CDL driving experience.

CDL Training Experience

• Experience in CDL training, commercial driver instruction, or CDL-related on-the-job driver training.

CDL Regulatory Compliance

• Experience with DOT/FMCSA compliance and commercial driver qualification, training, or testing requirements.

Fleet Management

• Experience with commercial fleet management or fleet operations oversight, including equipment readiness and maintenance coordination.

Management and Supervisory Experience

• Minimum five (5) years in location management, operations management, or a supervisory role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead personnel, organize operations, and maintain performance standards.

• Sales, customer relations, or business development experience is a plus.
