The Procurement Manager will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring an efficient and cost-effective supply chain. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, drive strategic decision-making, and implement industry best practices to strengthen our procurement operations. - Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies aimed at optimizing costs and improving overall supply chain efficiency.
- Identify, assess, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with ethical and sustainability standards.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing, payment conditions, and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and align procurement activities with organizational objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to remain informed on industry trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing fluctuations.
- Manage supplier relationships through ongoing performance evaluation, issue resolution, and fostering long‑term partnerships.
- Monitor inventory levels, analyze demand patterns, and implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excesses.
- Drive continuous personnel development.
- Perform other assignments as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant procurement, planning, and purchasing experience with a track record of increasing responsibility.
- Results‑driven, highly motivated individual with strong hands‑on technical aptitude and a demonstrated ability to excel in a high‑performance, team‑oriented environment.
- Proven record of excellence in continuous improvement and change management resulting in improved performance, efficiency, cost management, profits, quality, safety, and employee morale.
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and perform under pressure in a fast‑paced, dynamic schedule.
- Skilled at reporting, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operating data/variances; experienced in developing and implementing countermeasures.
- Strategic thinker with strong planning/tactical skills, sense of urgency, focus on measurable results, and ability to get things done.
- Strong understanding, commitment, and proven track record in meeting safety and environmental requirements/regulations.
