Overview
The Clinical Educator influences professional role competence and professional growth of learners in a variety of settings. The Clinical Educator provides educational expertise in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing orientation, continuing education, and in-service education programs. The Clinical Educator is accountable for planning, implementing, evaluating, and revising needs-based educational systems that support clinical practice and regulatory requirements. The Clinical Educator contributes to the profession's body of knowledge by participating in IRB‑approved nursing research and translating the research into current nursing practice.
The Clinical Educator provides educational support to achieve the organization's mission of excellent patient care and nursing's vision of setting a new standard of excellence in autonomous and accountable nursing practice committed to patient advocacy and innovative patient care in a climate of trust and collaboration.
This position is designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of marijuana constitutes a threat to patients and customers. Conway Regional is responsible for providing and supporting the delivery of health care related services.
Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or higher, required
- Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing or current enrollment in an accredited Master of Science in Nursing degree program, preferred
- Current unencumbered Arkansas nursing license required
- Minimum of three years of experience in nursing practice required
- Previous experience as licensed nurse in related area of hire, preferred
- Previous experience as unit educator, system educator, or other area of nursing education (i.e. preceptor, clinical instructor, staff education, or in‑services) required
