The Credit Operations Specialist is responsible for administering
construction loan draws, due diligence background checks, and letters of
credit.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
*
- Gather and review all necessary documents to process construction
- Set up and manage projects in the administration management portal.
- Consult with loan officers, loan assistants, and inspectors to create
daily, about 15% of the time. >
- Order due diligence background check reports on prospective and
daily, about 20% of the time. >
- Conduct OFAC checks needed for the background check. This duty is
- Monitor and balance letters of credit, working with other departments
about 20% of the time. >
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe
- Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

** EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*
* High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job
education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing,
clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 2 years related
experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
** COMMUNICATION SKILLS*
* Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions
in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients,
general public and other employees of the organization.
** MATHEMATICAL SKILLS*
* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,
commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to
practical situations.
** CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS*
* Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out
written, oral or diagrammed instructions. Ability to deal with problems
involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature.
