Summary:
Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
Conducts intake on patients, vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and completes patient health history in the electronic medical record.
Displays good decision making skills and has knowledge of anatomy and is proficient in medical terminology.
Must be able to multi task.
May be required to draw and collect blood samples for patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis, might be exposed to bodily fluids during patient care.
Must be friendly, professional, and able to keep a fast pace during clinic hours.

- EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent. - EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE:
Completion of a medical assistant program preferred. Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred. - CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, BONDING:
American Heart Association, BLS. - PHYSICAL
WORKING CONDITIONS:
May be exposed to a variety of healthcare settings, including clinical, office or maintenance environments.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
