Position: (USA) O/N Merchandising Lead

Base pay range

$22.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Position Summary

What you’ll do as a Merchandise Team Lead is to provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; guiding and supporting members regarding self‑service technology; assisting members with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving member issues and concerns; and promoting the company's products and services. You will also assist management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction to ensure member complaints are resolved according to company guidelines.

Additional duties include receiving and stocking supplies and merchandise from distribution centers, maintaining the sales floor equipment and merchandising, completing required documentation, ensuring facility safety by conducting safety sweeps and handling hazardous materials, maintaining merchandise presentation, monitoring food and merchandise quality, leading and participating in team activities, overseeing picking and staging of club pick‑up orders, developing and implementing processes to meet business needs, and supporting compliance with company policies and ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Assists management with supervision of associates by assigning duties, communicating goals, training associates, and ensuring compliance with company policies;
  • Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise, organizing and maintaining the sales floor, and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Maintains safety of facility by conducting safety sweeps, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations.
  • Maintains merchandise presentation by handling claims and returns, zoning, stocking, arranging, and pricing merchandise.
  • Monitors food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, code dating, recalls and sanitation standards.
  • Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, determining customer needs, coordinating work assignments, and providing support.
  • Oversees picking and staging of club pick‑up orders throughout the day.
  • Develops, communicates, and implements processes to meet business needs, analyzes information, monitors progress, and identifies improvement opportunities.
