Your Mission: The Sales Manager is responsible for driving new business growth, leading sales to prospective clients, and achieving company revenue goals through a consultative and relationship-focused approach. This role oversees the full sales cycle from lead generation and proposal development to closing deals and identifying upsell opportunities within existing accounts. The Sales Manager serves as a key bridge between prospects, clients, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication, strategic alignment, and sustainable revenue growth.
Part‑time: 20–25 hours/week, Hybrid Schedule
Key ResponsibilitiesGoal: > 35% Conversion Rate (Sales Meeting to Closed Won)
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification through proposal and close
- Conduct discovery calls and consultative meetings to understand client goals, challenges, and fit
- Develop and present tailored service recommendations and proposals that align with client needs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all company offerings, pricing, and value propositions
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Operations to ensure a smooth client handoff post‑sale
- Own and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and new business targets
- Maintain a robust and balanced sales pipeline with accurate forecasting
- Analyze performance metrics and conversion data to drive continuous improvement
- Identify market trends and adjust strategies to meet growth objectives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients throughout the sales journey
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams regarding new project updates, opportunities, and feedback
- Create and deliver clear, compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Ensure thorough communication with the internal team regarding brand standards, tone, and client preferences
Goal:
Monthly Reporting
- Oversee RFP research and proposal submissions from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proactive communication with the awarding organization
- Gather input from relevant departments to develop strategic, customized proposals
- Maintain CRM accuracy and produce weekly/monthly sales performance reports
- Track lead sources, pipeline stages, and close ratios to inform leadership decisions
Goal: > 15% Increase in YOY average spend by customer
- Partner with Account Manager(s) and Design & Marketing Manager to identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing client accounts
- Develop and implement upselling campaigns for Silverlake marketing channels
- Track retention and expansion metrics to measure the impact of upsell initiatives
- Continuously refine strategies to maximize client lifetime value and revenue per account
- Located in central Arkansas
- 2+ years of experience selling marketing, design, digital, or related professional services, preferably within an agency or consultancy environment
- Proven track record of increasing sales revenue
- Existing network of businesses or organizations within our target audience
- Experience using CRM tools (Hub Spot or similar) to manage pipeline, forecasting, and reporting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with business owners, executives, and marketing leaders
