Under general supervision, the applicant is responsible for supervision of After School Care Children’s Programs. Responsibilities include overseeing, organizing, and planning activities for children ages 5-12 years old. The applicant assists with games, special events, and programs under the countywide Recreation Department Program, ensures playing surfaces are clear and safe, prepares programs for activity, administers general first aid, enforces and interprets rules and regulations in designated recreation districts, and provides assistance when necessary.
Qualifications- Considerable knowledge of preparing and assisting with recreational programs, athletic activities, and coordinating recreational facilities.
- Must be able to pass the pre-employment background check and physical.
