Position: Physician / Cardiology - Interventional / South Carolina / Permanent / Interventional Cardiology Physcian " Coastal
An established health system located along the beautiful South Carolina coast is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join its growing cardiovascular team. Position Overview

Schedule:

Monday"Thursday (8 AM"5 PM);
Friday (8 AM"12 PM)
Responsibilities:

Primarily outpatient clinical role with some inpatient coverage

Administrative Time:
0.5 day per week Patient Contact

Hours:

36 per week (4 hours administrative)
Call:1:4 STEMI call rotation (supported by partner institutions and collaborative coverage); 1:6 rotation for general cardiology call

EMR:

Cerner Patient Volume & Profile Daily Volume:18"22 patients per day Population:

Adults aged 55+ with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions

Referral Base:

Strong primary care network supporting high patient volumes and a continuously expanding market

Scope of Practice Full-spectruminterventional and general cardiology services

Consultative model " hospitalists manage admissions

Advanced diagnostics including:

Echocardiography (TTE/TEE)
Stress testing (nuclear and treadmill)
Cardiac CT and MRI
256-slice CT scanner for advanced imaging

Collaboration with device clinic and dedicated cardiac technicians

Integrated partnership with Interventional Radiology for cross-referrals and procedural support

Facilities & Technology Cath Labs:

Two fully equipped cardiac catheterization rooms

Operating Rooms:10 state-of-the-art surgical suites

Cardiac Monitoring Unit:14 dedicated beds for post-procedure and acute monitoring

Hybrid Room Development:

Plans underway for advanced minimally invasive cardiovascular procedures

Robotic Surgery:

Da Vinci robotic system available for advanced cardiac and vascular interventions

Additional Capabilities:

DSA, MRI (3T & 1.5T), in-office ultrasound, and comprehensive wound care with hyperbaric therapy

Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary with quality and productivity incentives

Loan repayment eligibility through PSLFCME:$3,000 allowance plus 5 CME days annually
