Position Summary

This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape the breast imaging service line using advanced diagnostic and procedural technologies, including 3D mammography, breast MRI, tomosynthesis, and image-guided biopsies. The Breast Radiologist will work closely with surgeons, oncologists, APPs, and other specialty colleagues to provide integrated, high-quality patient care.

Scope of Work: 80% Breast Imaging / 20% General Radiology Position Highlights Interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and breast MRIs Perform and interpret image-guided biopsies Lead "triple assessment" evaluations (clinical, imaging, biopsy) Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and quality initiatives Collaborate closely with oncology, surgical, and primary care colleagues Help build and expand an integrated, high-performing radiology service line Facilities & Support State-of-the-art imaging: PET/CT, 64-slice CT, 3D mammography (multiple sites, including 1 of only 2 mobile mammography units in SC), breast MRI, high-definition endoscopy/bronchoscopy Tumor Boards:
Bi-weekly for breast, PCC, GI, and ENT Surgical Referrals:
Breast, colorectal, and vascular; bone marrow transplants referred externally Clinic/Facility: 10-chair infusion center, onsite lab and pharmacy, two additional infusion centers on campus Employed Provider Network: 160+ providers ACGME Accredited:
Medical students, Family Medicine Residency, transitional year, Sports Medicine Fellowship program Currently undergoing submission for accreditation by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer Compensation & Benefits Guaranteed 5-year employment agreement with base salary of $750,000 $ 75,000 sign-on bonus Relocation assistance: $25,000 wRVU bonus potential: $52 per wRVU above target Flexible call schedule Comprehensive benefits:
