Otolaryngology Physician

• Primarily outpatient clinical role with inpatient responsibilities
• CALL is based on # of ENTs (5 providers = every 5th wknd and a day of the weekdays) shared call with the Medical Center
• Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Fri: 8 am-12pm)
• 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours
• Dedicated 90% or more OP or 10% or less IP, with occasional inpatient follow-up and ED call coverage during clinic hours.
• Weekly schedule:
  Initially starting 4 clinic + 1 OR. Once the practice builds 3 clinic days + 2 OR days
• Support for general and robotic surgeries, assisting in advanced procedures.
• Cerner EMR
• 10 ORs on campus with low infection rates + 4 ORs at the new ASC
• Technology: advanced imaging and testing, including: PET scans, high-speed CT, 3-D mammography, 3T MRI, and bone-density screening.
• Call: 1:3 will be going to 1:4 with new hire
• Patient volume:
  On average 25+ per day
• Patient panel: newborn to geriatrics
• Full clinical support, dedicated staff and nursing staff
• Head and neck cancer specialists on medical staff
• Sub-spec in audiology w/ onsite audiologist

• Base 1 - 3 years then RVU
• Signing Bonus - $30K - 1/2 at signing, 1/2 at start
• Learning or graduate stipends from signing to start. 2k per month!
• CME: 5 days & 3K
