RN Clinical Director/Director of Nursing - Conway, SC

Job Type: Full-time

Shifts: Monday-Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

The Clinical Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and coordination of clinical services within assigned service areas. This role ensures the delivery of safe, high‑quality hospice and palliative care while fostering a culture of compassion, collaboration, and professional excellence.

• Lead clinical operations to ensure high‑quality, compliant hospice services.
• Supervise, mentor, and support clinical staff, including:
  • Registered Nurses (RNs)
  • Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
  • Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs/Hospice Aides)
  • Social Workers
  • Chaplains
  • Team Leads and other care team members
• Provide leadership for the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), including chairing meetings and coordinating individualized care plans.
• Partner with admissions and care coordination teams to ensure smooth patient transitions and continuity of care.
• Recruit, hire, coach, and develop staff while fostering professional growth and engagement.
• Monitor budgets, analyze trends, and recommend strategies to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Serve as a liaison to hospitals, facilities, physicians, and community partners.
• Promote a culture rooted in compassion, collaboration, accountability, and excellence.

• Registered Nurse (RN) degree required (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current Registered Nurse license in South Carolina.
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of management or leadership experience.
• Experience in acute care, home care, or residential settings preferred.
• Hospice experience strongly preferred.
