Primary Care-Nurse Practitioner Myrtle SC

A Nurse Practitioner is sought to deliver comprehensive outpatient care for patients in a primary care clinic. The NP will focus on preventive health, chronic disease management, and acute care services, while coordinating care with specialists as needed. Position Overview

• Outpatient-only clinical role (no inpatient responsibilities)
• Standard office hours:
  • Mon–Thurs: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Fri: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
• Protected administrative time: 4.5 days clinic / 0.5 day admin per week
• 36 patient contact hours / 4 administrative hours
• Minimal call shared on a 1:7–1:8 rotation
• Cerner EMR
• Dedicated support: a personal nurse and access to medical assistants

Patient Volume & Population

• Average daily volume: 18–22 patients
• Patient census:
  Primarily adult and geriatric
• Mixed rural/suburban population
• Common conditions: hypertension, diabetes, chronic disease follow-up, acute issues, wellness exams

Visit Types & Procedures

• Sick visits, chronic disease follow-ups, annual physicals, acute care
• In-office procedures may include:
  • Minor dermatologic procedures
  • Joint injections
  • Skin biopsies
  • Routine vaccinations
  • Women’s health screenings
