Heavy Equipment Mechanics will be responsible for maintaining records of service and repair work on all trucks and equipment, as well as performing unexpected mechanical tasks as needed to minimize disruption of business. They are also expected to order repair and maintenance parts, stock items, and keep inventory records as needed. These mechanics will be able to identify and overcome issues that arise from mechanical failures, communication breakdowns, availability issues regarding repair parts and tools, and safety concerns as it relates to the fleet.

Heavy Equipment Mechanics would be expected to assist with facility and grounds maintenance as needed and balance multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment. They may also travel to perform repairs and inspections on our job sites and may perform any other duty or assignment as may be required from time to time by their foreman.

• Maintain records of service and repair work on trucks and equipment.
• Perform mechanical tasks as needed to minimize disruption of business.
• Order repair and maintenance parts and stock items; keep inventory records.
• Identify and overcome issues from mechanical failures, parts and tool availability, and safety concerns related to the fleet.
• Assist with facility and grounds maintenance and balance multiple priorities in a team environment.
• Travel to perform repairs and inspections on job sites as needed and perform other duties as assigned by foreman.
