Financial Accountant

As Financial Accountant, you willbe an important part of our finance team, helping to deliveraccuratereporting,meaningfulinsightand strong financial control across the Group. This is a varied role where your work will support month-end activity, project profitability analysis and confident commercial decision-making helping to drivebusinessgrowth and profitability.

We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building trustedrelationshipsand using financial information to make a practical difference inthegrowth ofamulti-entity business.

Someone who brings more than technical excellence andcan translate numbers into insight to actively contribute to commercial decision makingand challenging assumptions.

• Play a key role indriving profitable growthby providing clear financial analysis,preparing monthly management accounts, including journals, reconciliations, accruals,prepayments and balance sheet reviews.
• Help deliver a smooth,accurateandtimelymonth-end close, providing clear variance analysis and commentary for management review.
• Bring financial insight to project performance through profitability, grossmarginand commercial reporting.
• Supportaccuraterevenue recognition by reviewingaccruedand deferred income.
• Manage intercompany charges, transfer pricingcalculationsand reconciliations across Group entities.
• Keep standard cost models, employee billableratesand charge-out structuresaccurateand up to date.
• Provide practical analysis and support for budgeting, forecasting, year-endauditsand external reporting.
• Contribute ideas that strengthen financial controls, improveprocessesand make reporting more efficient.

• Monthly management accounts are completed accurately and on time.
• Financial reporting,reconciliations and balance sheet reviews are reliable, well supported and clearly explained.
• Revenue recognition, client invoicing,accruals and deferred income are managed accurately and in line with deadlines.
• Intercompany balances, project profitability reporting, standardcostsand billable rates are keptaccurateand up to date.
• Finance processes and controls continue to improve, supporting efficient ways of working and high-quality reporting.

• A qualified or part-qualified accountant, or working towards ACA, ACCAor an equivalent qualification.
• Strong experience in financial accounting, including month-end close, journals,reconciliations and balance sheet review.
• Confident knowledge of accruals, prepayments, revenuerecognitionand intercompany accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP or integrated accounting systems.
• A detail-focused, organised approach, with the ability to analyse information, solve problems and meet deadlines.

• Experience working in a multi-entity or Group finance environment.
• Knowledge of transfer pricing, project accountingor profitability reporting.
• Experience supporting payroll processing, financesystemsor process improvements.
• Multi-entityand multi-currency.
• Finance systems

• Highly organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Commercially aware, with the ability to interpret financial information and support informed business decisions.

• Committed to continuous improvement, with a focus on efficient processes, reliablereportingand high-quality financial controls.

• A starting salary of £50k per annum
• A hybrid working environment with 3 days in our Conwy office
