Job Description & How to Apply Below
We Do Data is a specialist recruitment company that focuses on the recruitment of non-teaching support in the education sector.
We Do Data is proud to be exclusively partnering with one of the UK’s leading work-based learning providers to recruit a Funding & Compliance Manager on a fixed-term basis, with the potential for a permanent position.
With more than 30 years’ experience, the organisation delivers apprenticeships, employability programmes and workforce development solutions across England and Wales. Supporting thousands of learners each year, they are committed to providing high-quality learning opportunities that help individuals gain qualifications, secure employment and progress their careers.
As the Funding & Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring funding and learner data remains accurate, compliant and aligned with the latest funding guidance.
You will work closely with internal teams to identify and resolve data issues, strengthen processes and ensure the organisation remains fully prepared for audits and funding submissions.
We are looking for an experienced funding and compliance professional with a strong background within Further Education, apprenticeships or a training provider environment.
You will ideally have experience in:
* Working in a similar funding, compliance, MIS or data-focused role within an FE college or training provider.
* Conducting detailed compliance checks across large learner and funding datasets.
* Reviewing existing processes and making recommendations to improve compliance and data quality.
* Identifying, investigating and resolving funding and ILR validation errors.
* Strong knowledge of English funding rules, compliance requirements, audits and ILR returns.
* Working with apprenticeship and/or other government-funded provision.
* Leading and managing a small team, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
* Working collaboratively with operational, MIS and funding teams to ensure accurate and compliant data.
* Working effectively within a hybrid working environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing education provider where you will have the opportunity to make a real impact across funding, compliance and data processes.
The initial appointment will be on a fixed-term basis, with the potential for the role to become a full-time permanent position.
If you would like to discuss the opportunity informally, please contact Chelsea at We Do Data for a confidential conversation, or apply as soon as possible.
If this role isn't quite right for you but you know someone who could be a good fit, please feel free to share the opportunity with them.
We Do Data (Bristol) Ltd is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, applicants, and clients to share this commitment. Any appointment will be made subject to strict vetting and screening checks and receipt of a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
In accordance with the DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’, this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants
