Responsibilities
- Controlling chemical and other stock levels and consumables by control and management of purchasing via SAP. Monitoring and controlling expenditure to meet budgetary targets
- Inducting, supervising and managing outside contractors carrying out revenue and reactive capital maintenance breakdowns and projects ensuring full compliance to Health & Safety and BMS requirements and ensuring quality control
- To liaise with ME&I crafts team on revenue and reactive capital maintenance work
- Liaising and planning work with network supervisors and operatives to ensure uninterrupted supply when plant shut downs are required for maintenance and other associated work required on site
- Participating in arrangements and cover for annual leave and sickness for area of operation
- Undertaking any other duties as required to meet the needs of the business

This role will see you operate Water Treatment Works and associated water pumping stations to company BMS and Health & Safety requirements. This will include

Length of programme: 18 months
All of our apprenticeship and trainee programmes will start on £25,949. Training will be provided on the job. Start date will be 7th September 2026.
