Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Conwy

Hours: Monday – Friday, either 6:30–14:30 or 7:00–15:00

Contract: Temp-to-perm opportunity

Rate of Pay: Starting £12.21 per hour, with opportunity to increase to £12.62 once upskilled

We are recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of our client. This role is an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity based in Conwy, offering structured shifts and a pathway for development. Reporting to the Senior Production Manager, Shift Production Manager, Supervisors, and Senior Production Operatives, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality production outputs while maintaining efficiency and quality standards.

• Coordinate daily production orders
• Monitor stock levels (trays/boxes)
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain awareness of allergens and prevent cross-contamination

• Ensure all products meet specification and quality standards

• Report any machine or line issues to the Production Manager/Line Leaders
• Complete all required documentation accurately
• Undertake training to maintain and improve skill sets
• Contribute to reducing waste in raw materials and packaging

• Previous experience in production within food manufacturing desirable, particularly meat, chilled, frozen, or retail sectors
• Food hygiene qualification desirable

• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Basic IT literacy and good numerical ability
