We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Senior Controller to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is critical to our success and requires a professional who is passionate about driving financial performance, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and managing complex accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GAAP, manufacturing industry, cost accounting, inventory accounting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

With a minimum of 5+ years of experience, the candidate will play a pivotal role in our financial management strategy and contribute to our ambitious growth plans.

As a Permanent Senior Controller, your primary responsibilities will include:

• 1. Overseeing all accounting operations, including cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
• 2. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
• 3. Ensuring compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
• 4. Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
• 5. Coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• 6. Researching technical accounting issues for compliance.
• 7. Supporting month-end and year-end close process.
• 8. Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• 9. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• 10. Performing variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• 11. Collaborating with the management team to understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA is highly desirable.
• 2. Minimum of 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience in a senior role.
• 3. Proven working experience as a Financial Controller in the manufacturing industry.
• 4. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• 5. Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
• 6. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
• 7. Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and variance analysis.
• 8. Experience in the food industry is a plus.
• 9. Strong analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.
• 10. Attention to detail and accuracy.
• 11. Ability to direct and supervise.
• 12. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
