Dealership Mechanic

Dena Motors is hiring for a mechanic to join our Service Department. The ideal candidate should be comfortable assessing vehicle components ranging from electronic systems to air conditioning units. Maintenance work experience, manual dexterity, and communication skills are required.

Experience with European makes is a HUGE plus. Bilingual a plus, but not required. Apply today if you are interested in joining our team! Responsibilities:
• Continue learning and growing technical skills and opportunities
• Perform system inspections, test drives, and diagnostic tests to determine necessary repair work
• Remedy mechanical problems and malfunction codes that are identified in the vehicle's electrical system, mechanical systems, and electronic systems
• Collaborate with supervisors and fellow auto mechanics to diagnose and repair vehicles’ mechanical issues
• Generating repair estimates, timelines, and process documents for automotive work

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills are necessary
• Good manual dexterity and effective use of hand tools and other equipment needed for vehicle repairs
• Preferred education is an associate’s degree from a technical school or relevant automotive program and/or ASE certification
• A valid driver’s license is necessary
• High school diploma or GED equivalent necessary Compensation: $22 - $26 hourly
