*** Providing itinerant vision-related education services to students with blindness or visual impairments
* Delivering individualized instruction, including Braille and orientation & mobility skills
* Assessing student needs and developing appropriate learning materials and accommodations
* Adapting curriculum, classroom environments, and materials to ensure accessibility
* Being an active IEP team member, writing goals, and monitoring progress
* Conducting functional vision and learning media assessments
* Planning and implementing lessons tailored to specific eye conditions
* Maintaining accurate records and submitting required reports to schools and families
* Acquiring and delivering adaptive equipment, books, and administering assessments with recommendations
* Collaborating with teachers, service providers, and families to support inclusion and student success

* Qualifications:

**
* ** Required License/Certification:
** Must hold or be eligible for Georgia certification in accordance with Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) certification requirements for a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments.
