Responsibilities- Work with VDC Specialists on the creation of detailed fabrication and installation drawings for Mechanical and Plumbing systems
- Create fabrication spool drawings for the prefabrication of pipe systems
- Create fabrication spool drawing map to identify installation location of prefabricated pipe spools
- Annotation of fabrication spool map drawings
- Annotation of fabrication and installation shop drawings
- Creation of bill of materials
- Creation of pipe cut lists
- Creation of pipe identification labels
- Work with other team members to complete models and drawings as required
- Assist fabrication shop with kitting and carting for efficient job site delivery
- Perform QA/QC review of work personally produced prior to issue to other teams
- Assist in QA/QC review of work produced by other spoolers within the team
- Communicate with VDC Specialists to ensure that fabrication intent is clearly communicated on fabrication spool drawings
- Maintain training and continued education for incumbent and team to continually improve accuracy and productivity
- Provide Input to management regarding both hardware and software requirements to perform duties
- Responsible for communicating with internal employees, third‑party companies, and the IT team at EMCOR (individual contribution role)
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret technical literature/writing and plans

- Knowledge of experience with installation of mechanical or plumbing systems
- Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication CADMEP, Autodesk Navisworks or any other BIM software is a plus
- A working familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, and Outlook and ability to be trained in use of the Company‑specific applications and software
- The physical demands are those associated with working in a typical office environment and miscellaneous field travel
