Position:
Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading small projects or project elements from conception to completion. This includes producing detailed electrical designs, technical specifications, and performing field services such as site inspections. Your contributions will directly support our mission of delivering high-quality, code-compliant designs to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and draft electrical systems, including power, lighting, and data systems, using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Perform technical calculations, structural assessments, and arc-flash analysis.
  • Develop and edit technical specifications in Master Spec or Specs Intact formats.
  • Conduct field services, including inspections and construction observations.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineering teams to ensure design consistency.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and assist senior engineers on large-scale projects.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering (ABET/EAC-accredited) or equivalent.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 3+ years for master’s degree graduates, 7+ years for bachelor's graduates, or 10+ years with an associate degree.
  • Familiarity with federal UFC, DOD, and VA criteria is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passed FE exam is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to high-quality work and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
