ABOUT THE JOB

The Supply Chain Director provides leadership and direction in planning and managing material requirements, production scheduling, warehouse and customer service to meet GSF objectives for quality, efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. The SCM Director will generate a clear understanding of the Master Demand Plan of the site based on the LPNA S&OP process to produce an effective local supply plan, ensuring the highest level of service while maximizing efficient use of supply chain resources, site assets, and inventories.

WHAT

YOU'LL DO
  • Manage Master Plan and LPNA S&OP demand forecast inputs to drive materials planning and production scheduling, ensuring an uninterrupted supply of finished products for domestic and international customers while maximizing efficient operations.
  • Oversee sales orders, deliveries, and customer service performance, addressing customer concerns and tracking service levels.
  • Manage and develop the site warehouse operations, setting policies and measures to ensure inventory accuracy, expense management, warehouse efficiencies, and P&L management.
  • Develop the warehouse processes that support production operations such as batching, kitting, and returns, acting as a separate entity from liquid production operations.
  • Drive correct use of the D365 ERP planning functions, ensuring data integrity with strong focus on MRP planning parameters and recommend improvements in informational tools.
  • Audit operational procedures to identify and implement improvements in product availability, storage optimization, receiving and shipping, sanitation, security, and inventory accuracy.
  • Lead the team in managing Working Capital for raw materials and finished goods, reducing excess inventory and shortages.
  • Minimize scrap due to expiration and obsolescence of inventories.
  • Generate inventory reports shared across cross‑functional teams to produce actionable intelligence.
  • Maintain clear communication with Sales, Product Development, Commercialization, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Operations, and Procurement to ensure effective plans.
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop the manufacturing site supply chain strategic direction and goals, ensuring alignment with Plant and LPNA Divisional objectives.
  • Monitor the adequacy of action plans to meet plant objectives, track performance toward key performance indicators, and ensure organizational alignment.
  • Manage all assigned staff, including training, performance evaluations, career development, and TPM training. Assist in recruitment and selection following company policies.
  • Assist in the development of the annual budget for inventory, expenses, and capital expenditures.
  • Develop and report KPI metrics.
  • Perform other related and assigned duties as necessary.
LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY
  • Manage Production Planners/Schedulers, Materials Planners/Buyers, Inventory Control, and Warehouse Managers.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, supply chain, planning, or related majors from an accredited college or university.
  • Supply Chain Certifications such as ASCM/CPIM considered a plus.
Experience
  • 7 to 15 years of relevant work and/or supervisory experience in planning, scheduling, and logistics within a manufacturing environment.
  • Food manufacturing environment experience preferred.
