This position is responsible for supporting, diagnosing, and executing corrective actions for the site/plant maintenance program. This includes preventive, predictive maintenance of equipment and building to ensure optimum efficiency and output. Responsible for ensuring that personal and plant safety are the number one priority. This position reports to the plant or maintenance manager.

• Ability to understand and follow Lock‑out Tag‑out Procedures for all equipment and processes.
• Understanding of hand and related tools used in a manufacturing environment for the repair of machinery and equipment.
• Understanding of basic electrical circuitry and differentiation between low‑level and high‑level voltage.
• Team orientation:
  Ability to work with others on projects.
• Computer proficiency:
  Ability to operate a tablet/computer to record preventive maintenance activities.
• Responsibility for safety guarding, machine uptime, preventive maintenance program.
• Continual training and development to maintain and improve all aspects of preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Full understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure optimum efficiency and output.
• Support and maintain preventive maintenance program (Fixx system).
• Create and assist with a culture of continuous improvement.
• Work with or assist all outside contractors, ensuring they meet Cellofoam safety standards and protocols.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.
• Perform other production duties as requested by supervisor.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere with respect for others.
• Appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding plant or employee concerns.
• Maintain full compliance with corporate standards for business conduct and Federal antitrust laws.

• Minimum of 2 years training or experience in industrial maintenance.

• Good communication skills.
• Self‑starter, motivated.
• Support and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
• Mechanical:
  General knowledge of machinery and tools, including design, use, repair, and maintenance.
• Troubleshooting:
  Determining root cause of operating errors and deciding appropriate corrective actions.

• Prior experience in electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics operation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand CAD and blueprints preferred.
• Organizational, communication, and team‑building skills.

• Computer proficiency.
• Microsoft Office preferred.

• Flexibility in working hours to include nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Floor production position – working in production environment majority of time.
• Overtime work may be required.
