Full‑Time Senior Minister Position
Bethel Christian Church is seeking a full‑time pastor to lead our
congregation in faithfully proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ,
teaching the Word, shepherding God’s people, and providing wise
administrative leadership.
About Us
Founded in 1885, Bethel Christian Church has served the Conyers,
Georgia community for over 140 years. We are a loving,
multigenerational congregation committed to New Testament teaching,
the Restoration Movement heritage, and to serving the Lord and our
neighbors with compassion and integrity.
Located 30 miles east of Atlanta, Conyers is a growing community
within Rockdale County (population 97,000).
Bethel is a small but dedicated church family seeking a pastor who
will help strengthen our ministry and help lead us into the future.
One of our main outreach ministries is (RCYS) Rockdale Christian Youth
Softball, we serve anywhere between 250-400 children ages 5 to 17 for
a spring softball season annually on 3 church owned fields.
- Deliver engaging, biblically sound sermons for Sunday worship
- Teach Bible classes as needed
- Provide pastoral care, including counseling, visitation, and spiritual guidance
- Support and lead outreach and evangelism efforts
- Collaborate with church leadership to strengthen ministries and encourage congregational growth
- A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- A clear calling to pastoral ministry, with a passion for evangelism and shepherding
- Strong commitment to the teaching of the Bible
- Excellent preaching and teaching ability, with strong communication skills
- Compassionate, approachable, and committed to fostering spiritual growth within the congregation
- Ability to work well with elders, ministry leaders, and volunteers
