RN - Mother​/Baby - PRN

Overview

RN - Mother/Baby - PRN/As Needed -  at Rockdale Medical Center

• Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and within the policies of the organization. Will assess, plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate the care of delivered mothers and infants, first trimester postpartum patients and women's surgical patients.
• Reports to:
  
  Nurse Manager / Director

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Other: STABLE preferred
• Licenses:
  Current GA RN
• Medication and IV skills to care for mother and newborn required
• Advanced degree and/or OB nursing certification preferred
