Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and within the policies of the organization. Will assess, plan, coordinate, perform and evaluate patient care for sick/preterm infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care setting.

Director, Neonatal ICU

Non-exempt

Required Skills:

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• X Basic Life Support (BLS)
• □ Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• □ Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• X Other: STABLE
• X Other:
  Certification in Neonatal Nursing preferred
• Licenses:
  Current GA RN
• Recent Level III NICU experience preferred
• 1 year of Level III NICU experience preferred
