Admit Recovery (ARU) RN

The Admit Recovery (ARU) RN plays a pivotal role in patient care, acting as a bridge between doctors, patients, and families. The ARU RN is part of a supportive, collaborative team that provides superior patient care in a highly skilled, fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities include pre‑procedure preparation and post‑procedure recovery of invasive cardiology patients involved in Cardiac Cath, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology procedures.

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• The staff nurse functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
• The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates of a nursing program eligible.
• Current licensed Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License in the State of Georgia.
• BLS certification required.
• For PRN positions:
  One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
