Clinical Nurse Manager – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Position Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Manager to lead operations in our Intensive Care Unit. This leader will oversee day-to-day clinical activities, coordinate staffing and resources, and ensure patients receive safe, high-quality, and compassionate care. The role also plays an important part in mentoring nursing staff, supporting professional development, and advancing best practices in critical care.

• Direct and coordinate daily ICU operations, ensuring efficient workflows and excellent patient outcomes.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance to support a strong, engaged nursing team.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery and patient experience.
• Oversee department budgets, quality metrics, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead initiatives to improve quality, safety, and satisfaction among patients, families, and staff.
• Serve as a role model for professional nursing practice and foster a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Assist in clinical duties as needed to maintain safe staffing and continuity of care.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of three (3) years of acute care nursing experience, with at least one (1) year in a leadership role such as charge nurse, assistant manager, or supervisor.
• Strong clinical background in critical care nursing.
• Current Georgia RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Advanced certification in critical care (e.g., CCRN) strongly preferred.
