Position SummaryThe Shift Leader is responsible for assisting the General Manager or Person In Charge (on duty) with management activities and duties. This role collaborates with the Restaurant Management Team to ensure all activities align with and support the restaurant’s business plan. The Shift Leader also ensures all Crew Persons and Team Leaders perform their responsibilities effectively and meet expectations across all areas of their job descriptions.

- Approximately 2-3 years of experience and/or education demonstrating knowledge of restaurant management.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Excellent planning and time management skills.
- Team building, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling issues.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
- Effective communication methods with the restaurant, maintaining an open-door policy.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to implement process improvements for positive business results.
- Fast-paced environment working with kitchen equipment in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, work around heat, and lift 50-75 lbs. comfortably.
