Overview
Cook II - Full Time - at Rockdale Medical Center
Responsibilities- Performs a variety of preparation, distribution, and sanitation functions in support of assigned areas.
- Reports to:
Manager - Dining and Nutrition Services
- High school diploma or equivalent — Required
- Preferred
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment.
- Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.
- Extensive working knowledge of food preparation.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
