Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Overview

Strictly Mechanical is currently looking for Service Technicians to join our Conyers, GA office.

Service Technicians will provide the highest level of technical ability, quality, value, and integrity to our customers. They will diagnose service issues, obtain replacement parts, calibrate systems to manufacturer specifications, and effectively communicate findings and solutions to customers and the front office. They must be proficient in reading schematics and work plans and have a working knowledge of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling on commercial HVAC systems.
• Travel to job sites in the service area and coordinate with the dispatcher to keep schedules on track.
• Document details of services and parts provided electronically via a company‑provided cellphone.
• Maintain the vehicle, company fleet, equipment, and electronics in good working order.
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Participate in company‑provided training opportunities.
• Be available to work nights, weekends, or on a rotating basis to serve emergency needs for our customers.

• A high school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED).
• A vocational/technical diploma from an accredited HVAC program or completion of an apprenticeship program (REQUIRED).
• A valid driver’s license (REQUIRED).
• 5+ years of HVAC field experience (REQUIRED).
• EPA certification (REQUIRED).
• NATE certification (highly desirable but not required).

The role requires physical work, travel, and driving, and you must be comfortable working in various weather conditions. Availability for nights, weekends, and on-call emergency service is required.
