Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

A Preventive Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and servicing all equipment.

• Change oil, filters and replace parts as needed
• Inspect equipment
• Service all equipment
• Repair and replace needed parts
• Diagnose equipment problems
• Keep up to date on equipment manuals
• Grease equipment
• Perform on-site maintenance

• Must be able to physically complete all assigned tasks on equipment, including lifting, pushing and pulling tools and parts
• Travel to job sites or plants; on-site maintenance required
• Professional attitude and conduct
• Multi-tasking, interpersonal communication, problem solving, and time management skills
• High degree of safety awareness and safety discipline
• Professional and courteous demeanor with co-workers, supervisors and the public
• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
• Willingness to work nights and weekends when necessary
• Adhere to safety requirements and the policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist others as required
• Wear PPE in designated operations and production areas as stated by Pittman Construction Safety and OSHA
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Flexible to meet business needs and customer requirements
• Random and suspicion drug tests are performed
• Successful completion of a drug screen and background check is required to be hired
